Bruises

October 30, 2008

I did not realize how much I actually missed dancing till this week. All you feel like doing everyday so to collapse after dance concludes for the day. But it’s been satisfying since I’ve been missing this kind of practices for a while. I guess it doesn’t really matter whether Crescent Dance or not, (I really still miss it very much) it’s still dance nonetheless. The experience with the group would be different of course, with partner work now since there are guys, but we take it step by step.

I tried to do handstands for you
I tried to do headstands for you
Everytime I fell on you yeah everytime I fell
I tried to do handstands for you
But everytime I fell for you
I’m permanently black and blue, permanently blue for you

I got bruises on my knees for you
And grass stains on my knees for you
Got holes in my new jeans for you
Got pink and black and blue

My mind whirls in circles, but I am without answers.

1. Dance has made me happy recently. Its the most awesome mega work out ever. Had trouble with choreography at times well because I don’t really have a video-graphic memory. I need that at the moment. Totally need to do something about technique though. Ah, happy aches, you’ve been sorely missed.

2. Night Safari very very expensive. I very very sadxz.

3. Totally have no direction in the work aspect. And oh, it hit me chinese is like next tuesday.

Picture Books

October 27, 2008

Some say life goes in cycles. I think that’s true. I’m back to reading books with pictures. These books are the kind of books which you can read from home to town, and even completing it before you meet your friends.

Photobucket
(entire book out of paper cuttings, and heart warming)

Photobucket
(weird kids and cool rhyme-ee things)

Nonetheless, I enjoyed both these books and I’ll lend it to you if you ask cause’ it’s pretty awesome :D
(In a really odd way)

Ignorance is not bliss, but being protected is.
Then we start wondering whether maturity or innocence is better.
When do we stop protecting the ones we love?

Can’t be moved.

October 23, 2008

My heart is full: there’s no fear, nothing.
I want to be moved.
(Need to value the depth of relationships)

The days we missed classes to go for publicity preparations, the pizza in the dodgy room, staff buffets, random conversations, massive whining, sitting in the board room doing prep all over again, drawing on Art Rage (!!! I remember drawing out whatever resembled Mt Fuji!!!), laughing at Josef Tan, interviews, advertisements, heulab email accounts, TAs …
Good times :D

Swelling with Crescent Pride for some absurd reason. They’ve come a long way since 4 years ago.
